My sanctuary

My grip stuff, CoC 1,2,3 BBSM ( with the black spiring ) pony clamp to train pinch, home made rolling thunder type device + home made loading pin. ( thanks dad, your a genius with that welder )

My bench, ( my camera woouldn't get the pic in my dark garage ). Too padded and too tall. But If I get strong in an imperfect enviroment, when the enviroment gets better............

My alltime favorite fitness equipment period. 88,70,53,44. Being really strong in the bench or squat is totally cool. totally addictive, but the C&P, side press, and swing, all in high volume, could turn a person into a super person I think.

My JS bands hooked over my pullup bar, purple 50 lbs, red 25 lbs. Using them as pullup assistance has almost gotten me to where I can do a full dead hang tactical pullup at 275 lbs.
I'm going to start using thm for 2 hand swing once a week as a DL assistance move :-)

My bag, and my cage in my garage. I was so hapy to finally get one of my own. If I could do everything over again when I got my first real job ( fast food UGH ) I would have saved a few checks up and got a real PL cage and bar. I got this on because it has a hi/lo pulley. I would recomend just getting a regular cage and a hi/lo machine seperately. I really need the space in the cage!!
BUT, I still love having it in my garage. :-)

Of course now I want a Beast, another Bulldog, Powerblock dumbell set, full double sets of JS bands, an Apollon axle bar, a cambered bar for good mornings, more 45 lb plates, a good PL bar an adjustable box ( I'm going to ask for this for my B-day next month )................................and who knows what the hell else. LOL Guess I'm addicted now.

Bring on the PLer porn! Woooooo! Look at those bells baby! Love the power rack. I agree with you about the bench, you need to have a muffin sale and get a new one :)

I occassionally work out at a police station that uses a bench like that as it's only flat bench. I have a hard time getting the groove right.

cool photos royce! those are great looking bells and the bench, well, lol, it'll have to do for now but if you look on american powerlifting evolution site and see what flimsy assed benches those old guys used you will look at your current bench with more appreciation!
I'm such a visual learner, love photos and vids.

Rif me too. I love the vids online. Tommorrow is DL day and Ive been watching craploads of DL vids. So far I relate to Andy Bolton's form the most, he starts the lift with his knees bent and his feet apart. That's where I feel the strongest at.
Of course I'm using about 1/5 the weight he does!!!!

Ok, so I'm an ungrateful youngin'! :) The only suggestion I have to offer is just one without the adjustable back, just a flat bench, but that might not be cost effective for a home gym. I suppose we both could stop whining and suck it up. :)

LOL. Ironmind has a flat bench I've been thinking about. It won't be cost effective, but that's not why I got a home gym. I'll probably have mucho money invested in it by the time I'm an old man. And it will be there for my kids and grandkids. I hope my kb's get passed down through the family. I hope 2-3 hundred years from now mt great-great-great-great-great grandkids are swinging them . LOL

LOL, I think I have a garden bench that looks sturdier to lift off of that that one on the website!

I'll have to take a picture of my kettlebell. I only have one 16kg bell, she's old and rusty, but she get's the job done. :)
