Form tweak
I did all the swings with my head "nuetral" and tried to visualize a long spine. I love and hate not looking at a fixed point. I love it cause it seems to take my lower back out of the swings and makes me a little more flexible in the bottom. I hate it cause I just don't feel as stable not fixing my eyes on one point, and it's hard to re-learn.

one or two more workouts, and you should be good to go. Did it really help your back?
Yeah actually it did. I think I kinda arch and pull with my back when my head is tilted back. I focused on pushing forward with my hips too, so that may have helped some too.
No kidding? good insights. Doing it this way definitely felt more comfortable to me, as in "calming," and then my ass blew up.

Doing a lot of snatches with the long spine technique kind of makes me feel kinda dizzy... floor - wall - floor - wall - floor - wall - floor - wall
Now I snatch with my eyes closed.
LMAO!
I follow the bell with my eyes, it is dizzying.
