Oh yeah! When I saw 'The Patriot' with Mel Gibson, it haunted me for days. I mean it showed a very real portrayal of how things were back then- church burnings and all. The men & women who died for our freedom didn't love their lives or their families any less than we love ours and yet they were willing to give it all. Makes me feel very proud and I get all choked up...

I have never felt such Patriotism as the last few years. I am grateful for all of those who served our country. They served at great personal risk to themselves and their families.
I am grateful that we have a country based on capitalism.
I am glad you have read so many sources in your quest for options knowledge.
I am in QQQQ sold short and hoping for a slight fall, google and apple seem to be my favorites lately.
I will have to watch rough rice.
What is the symbol?

Jan. is RRF7 that is the month I have my option in. I don't know if commodities are listed on the Stock Exchange, they are a copmpletely separate market. But I could be wrong!!

R,
I am not as familiar with futures / commodities.
I had been playing in Securities, Options, and Money market funds with a sweep feature for the loose cash in the account so I can retain a higher interest rate.

I think my grandpa B was into futures.

You had been talking about Rough Rice, so I looked it up after you gave my the symbol.
Still not sure how it works, you must have an expiration in January?
So you tie the money up for a period of time? Not so sure how this works, will have to do some reading.
Will check out the website.

So, when you all move, I will have to buy you a token scraper?

Exchange: A marketplace, or any organization or group that provides or maintains a marketplace for trading securities, options, futures, or commodities. Examples of exchanges: New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) or the American Stock Exchange (AMEX).
